Morris "Mo Pete" Peterson was a member of the Spartans 2000 NCAA National Championship basketball team, played 11 years in the NBA, and this month was inducted into the MSU Athletics Hall of Fame.

Peterson talks on the show about the phenomenon of professional athletes going broke. "When I was first starting out in the NBA, you'd hear a lot of stories. I thought, 'I don't want to be that player who loses a lot money,'" he says. Peterson credits his parents with helping him avoid that fate. About MSU coach Tom Izzo, Peterson says, "He has done so many things for me, not only in basketball, but in life." Peterson also talks with host Al Martin about the first time he met eventual teammate Mateen Cleaves, staying fit, and family life with two young pairs of twins.

During the "Twelfth Man" segment with the studio audience, Peterson fields questions about his favorite dunk, second-half comebacks during the NCAA championship run, insights into teamwork he gained as the "sixth man," and high points of his career.
