Curious Crew Season 2 Preview

Stacy Hoxsey

Mid-Michigan viewers can get a sneak preview of the second season of “Curious Crew” during the week of Thanksgiving. Back-to-back episodes air Monday, Nov. 23, at 5 and 5:30 p.m., and again on Friday, Nov. 27, at 5 and 5:30 p.m.

The WKAR original series takes a hands-on approach to investigating principles of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with host Rob Stephenson and a cast of inquisitive kids.

Over the two episodes airing the week of Thanksgiving, Rob and the crew explore the topics of "Vision" and "Levers," with activities such as "Strings Under Your Nose," "Benham's Top" and "Trebuchet Trials." Episodes were recorded at Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing.

#Curiosity Guide

For many of the explorations featured on the show, there is a step-by-step "CuriosityGuide" that kids, parents and educators can use to do their own investigations at home or school. The "CuriosityGuide" set of PDFs for each episode is available for download at wkar.org.

Full Season Start Dec. 21

The full 10-episode season begins its run Monday, Dec. 21, in its regular time slot on Mondays at 5:30 p.m., with encores at 11 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
