DSO Doubles Up In February

After a January hiatus from the airwaves, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra returns to 90.5 Classical in February with two Friday morning concerts brought to you live from Orchestra Hall.

Host Dave Wagner from our partner station WRCJ-FM is your guide starting Friday, February 8th at 10:40am with the DSO and Leonard Slatkin. The maestro begins a festival of American music by Joan Tower, Virgil Thomson, Leonard Bernstein and more.

February 15th continues the series with Adagios for strings by Cindy McTee and Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein’s Age of Anxiety Symphony and George Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F with the brilliant Jean-Yves Thibaudet at the keyboard.
