The Celebrating the Spectrum program is hosted by the Michigan State University College of Music. It allows teens on the autism spectrum to experience being a music major.
On Saturday, the visiting students will perform at a recital incorporating what they’ve learned during the week.
Jaxon Schroeder is from Minnesota and he plays the piano and guitar. Schroeder says although he loves all types of classical music, his favorite happens to be included inside of a video game.
Schroeder along with the other six students will perform Saturday at the Cook Recital Hall in the MSU Music Building at 4:00 pm.
