Toastmasters’ focus is on developing communication and leadership skills in its members.A particular focus is on speechmaking. Toastmasters asks members to give speeches at its meetings, which are followed by other members’ supportive advice. Those members are spread across about 15,000 clubs in 126 countries. There are 24 clubs here in mid-Michigan.
Since late last year, Muhammad Murad has had the distinction of serving as the President of that organization. Murad first joined Toastmasters in 1996 in his native Dubai. He owns and oversees four companies there.
