Every day this week, we’re bringing you a story from our last Pop-Up Stories event, where the theme was "reaping what you sow."

Here’s storyteller Tyra High sharing about how she and her mother learned to sow into each other’s lives.

We celebrate storytelling in many ways here at WKAR. We bring you the news, but also the stories behind the headlines. We tell you the stories of communities and the people in them. And we also ask you to tell us your stories.

One way we do that is with our Pop-Up Stories public storytelling events, where anyone in the community can share a personal story based around a theme.

Tune in to Morning Edition and All Things Considered every day this week for more stories.
