Mardi Gras; Racism in Sports; Mark Ingram; MSU Football Spring Practice; Brian Calloway; Prep Sports; Kirk Cousins.

Happy Mardi Gras to all those celebrating! "Current Sports with Al Martin" delivers a King Cake of a show, but it's not all fun and games. Al begins by giving his insider take regarding the seeming racism that kept Saints running back Mark Ingram and friends out of a London night club. Then, it's time for MSU football to end the silence. Al calls for Mark Dantonio to issue a statement regarding the investigations, and what do you know, during the show Dantonio issues a press release! Talk about coincidence. Hear what Dantonio had to say as Al reads the release on the air. Then, Brian Calloway, lead prep sports writer for the Lansing State Journal, brings up what is going on locally at the high school basketball level and circles around to MSU women's basketball. Finally, Al explores the merits of Kirk Cousins being handed a franchise tag from the Washington Redskins.
