ESPN's Noah Waltzer Explains The Growing Popularity of eSports

From staggering livestream numbers to mainstream attention, eSports are growing. Professional events attract viewers from around the world, and even in Michigan, players vie for cash rewards.

Riding the wave of their current popularity, eSports are only growing further.

On Monday's Current Sports, ESPN and Rotowire writer Noah Waltzer joined the show to break down the largely arcane field. 

Waltzer went on to describe the influx of viewers and international allure and also provided an overview of the players themselves. 

From salaries to dieticians to game-tape, the sport is for real--so much so that it could eventually find its way into the Olympics.
