Winter is coming, and the first day of November sends shivers down the backs of Detroit Lions fans. A hilarious fan-made song aired today on "Current Sports with Al Martin" explains why. With the trade deadline gone, the Lions failed to acquire any significant talent, but their failure to send away a locker room and on-field hazard is what has media buzzing. Al and engineer Isaac Constans explain why the problem is more serious than just a few dropped balls. Production assistant Casey Harrison also joins the crew to parse the first college football rankings of the season. Who's high, who's low and who's just right? Did the committee get it right? Al next takes up an interview segment with James Moore, former MSU football fullback. James opens up the breakdown of the week ahead for the Spartans, and touches on another mid-Michigan team with great potential. Moore, an assistant coach for DeWitt High School, catches listeners up about the Panthers' second-round playoff bout this weekend in high school football. Cementing a day's work, Al circles the table for Isaac's and Casey's expectation for tonight's dramatic Game Seven of the World Series. Al gives his own guess too.

It is also announced today that Isaac will depart WKAR in mid-December. A senior, he will finish his class requirements this fall before studying abroad in the spring. He has been with WKAR  and Current Sports since 2014.
