Should Isle Royale replenish wolf population? The future of the wolves of Isle Royale National Park is in question. Current State's Melissa Benmark talks with biologist Rolf Peterson.

The National Park Service is taking public comment for another month about the situation. There were some public meetings this week, several of which were on Isle Royale. There are just three wolves left on the island, the moose population is soaring, and the way forward isn’t yet decided.

Current State’s Melissa Benmark spoke with Rolf Peterson, the Michigan Technological University professor of wildlife ecology who’s been studying the changing wolf and moose populations for decades.
