The first case of Lyme disease this year has been detected in Washtenaw County. What does that mean for us here in Ingham County? We talk with MSU Entomologist Howard Russell.

Health officials say they’re treating a Washtenaw county resident for Lyme disease. They believe it’s the first case to originate from ticks in the county and not from travel out west or elsewhere.

What other places in Michigan are at risk? What about the Lansing area?
