Getting better acquainted with extraordinary people is the focus of Current State’s new series, Voices of Experience.   Last week, we launched the feature with the first of a two-part interview with former Michigan Attorney General,” Frank J. Kelley.

The so-called "Eternal General" served under five governors, from 1961 to 1998.   Many remember him for initiating some of the country’s first legal actions against polluters and consumer scams.

To begin part two of the extended conversation, host Mark Bashore asks Frank Kelley his thoughts on the ongoing debate over gay marriage.

If you’d like to nominate an extraordinary Michiganian for consideration in Current State’s ‘Voices of Experience’ series, please e-mail us at currentstate@wkar.org.
