Book explores Detroit connection to U.S. Nazi past

Author Arnie Bernstein has published a new book about the rise of an American Nazi movement in the 1930s, which had strong ties to the city of Detroit. It’s called “Swastika Nation: Fritz Kuhn and the Rise and Fall of the German-American Bund.”Bernstein spoke with Current State's Melissa Benmark about the book. He says Kuhn dreamed of being "the Hitler of America".
