The business start-up scene here in Lansing is about to get another boost. A business incubator for fashion designers called The Runwayis expected to open in February in the historic former Knapp’s department store building downtown. The project will house up to 12 designers in residence and a retail store, and will work to retain and cultivate design talent here in mid-Michigan.
