It’s Wednesday and time for our Neighbors in Action segment, where we feature people and organizations working to make our community a better place. Today we feature two organizations that assist victims of sexual assault in our community.Shari Murgittroyd is the program coordinator for the MSU Sexual Assault Program, and Beth DeLaOssa is the coordinator of Sparrow’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program.
Murgittroyd says the MSU program offers a 24-hour sexual assuault crisis line.
