Current Sports host Al Martin discusses college softball. MSU's season has come to an end, while Michigan has earned a high seed for the NCAA tournament.

The Big Ten Softball Tournament provides a final chance for the bottom of the conference to turn heads and possibly earn an NCAA tournament bid. The MSU softball team qualified for the conference tourney for the first time since 2014, but fell to Illinois in the first round. The loss ended all NCAA tourney hopes for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, the Michigan softball team has been a powerhouse for quite some time, finishing runner-up in the College World Series last year to Florida. They earned an impressive seed for the national tourney.

We talk with Current Sports host Al Martin about college softball and more.
