UPDATE: Convention Coverage on WKAR-TV

The "PBS NewsHour" team will anchor coverage of the Republican and Democratic Conventions.

WKAR-TV will cover the Republican Convention from 8 to 11:30 on Tuesday and until 11 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

(Schedule subject to change, pending modifications in the convention schedule.)

WKAR-TV will air all key elements of the convention, including Ann Romney's speech and the acceptance speech of Mitt Romney. The "PBS NewsHour" team will provide reporting and analysis throughout.

Note: On Monday, August 27, convention coverage is canceled due to Tropical Storm Isaac. WKAR-TV will run its regular line-up, including "Antiques Roadshow at 8 and 10 p.m. and "Market Warriors" at 9 p.m.
