Our WKAR news team will come to your place of business, a park, school, shopping area or another area site to record the sounds of your world and you, for a new series of on-location audio spots featuring WKAR listeners in our community.
We want to meet you!
"Radio is theatre of the mind," says News Director Kevin Lavery. "Is there a cool place in the mid-Michigan area whose sounds reflect your life? In the audio spots, we’re asking participants to explain where they are and what they do, then add in our station ID information. We might visit you at an auto plant where you work, the River Trail where you bicycle every week or the park where you and your children play. We want to get out on the road and talk with you!"
We want to promote our wonderful community here in mid-Michigan. In turn, you can show your support for WKAR!
