The Potter Park Zoo in Lansing has a new addition: Taza the male snow leopard.

Sarah Foote is the animal programs manager at the Potter Park Zoo. She said that the zoo worked with the snow leopard species survival program at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

“They helped us find an animal that needed a home," said Foote. "He actually, Taza, actually came from Lincoln Park Zoo over in Chicago so it was a nice easy easy ride for him to come to Potter Park.”

Although Taza is not so sure about the tigers that live next door to him, Foote said that the 6 year old feline is doing well in his new home.

Visitors can see him at the snow leopard exhibit.
