SPARTAN FOOTBALL

Cleveland Indians' Win Streak; Attendance; Big Ten Football; James Franklin; Michigan State Football; UFC and Combat Sports; Taya Reimer.

On "Current Sports with Al Martin" this Wednesday, the Detroit Tigers are in the record books. Well, they are as the losing side to a Cleveland Indians' team that is setting wins records left and right. But while the Tigers are the local figure of attention, Al instead looks to Cleveland. The attendance figures for a stunning team have staggered, and he questions why. Al explores the accomplishment of this special group of baseball players and why they face challenges in their own ballpark, while also bringing updates from the rest of the league. Then, it's onto Big Ten football. A game of hypotheticals is set, as Al and engineer Isaac Constans volley back and forth on the best quarterback in Michigan and whether the comments of Penn State head coach James Franklin were fair or foul. Also, what Big Ten team has the best chance to make the College Football Playoff, and will one? Listen for the answer. As college football consumes the show, all that's left is to welcome another Current Sports production assistant that MSU basketball fans will know well. Taya Reimer, member of the Michigan State women's team, makes her first appearance for WKAR, and production assistant Casey Harrison is back to bring you the newest from th UFC arena.
