Today on "Current Sports with Al Martin," it's Judge-ment Day for MLB teams. With the playoffs officially underway, New York Yankees sensation Aaron Judge slugged the team into the second rounds. Al takes issue, however, with the winningest team in MLB history. Engineer Isaac Constans quotes the rapper Birdman to make the same point. But while it's the postseason for some, it's the offseason for others, including the Detroit Tigers. Current Sports production assistant Casey Harrison sets the forum for who the Tigers should chase to replace Brad Ausmus as manager in the upcoming year. There's more about the Tigers too, including a scan of some of the hottest prospects on the team who fans could see next year. That and a World Series preview lead callers to take the airwaves about baseball and MSU football, providing a seamless transition into more talk about the big game. To offer a view of the Michigan Wolverines, Adam Biggers of FanRag Sports catches up with Al to help preview the MSU-UM rivalry game taking place this weekend. Adam hits on the quarterback situation and hints at what he thinks the final score could look like. Completing the show, Al and Isaac reveal the new model for the NBA All Star Game.
