Tyler Hilinski; Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy; Safety in Youth Sports; Detroit Red Wings; 2018 NHL Draft

The conversation around concussions continues. On this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al and engineer Ian Hawley share their thoughts on whether they would let their own future children play football. Al also reads statements from the family of Tyler Hilinski, the former Washington State quarterback who committed suicide after their bowl game this past season. Hilinski's autopsy revealed his struggle with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, which doctors said caused his brain to function like that of a 60-year-old man. To close the show, production assistant Alec Reo passes judgment on the Detroit Red Wings' selections in the 2018 NHL Draft.
