Is football unsafe for kids? On this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," Al recaps the NBA Awards Show and discusses why he thinks the Ben Simmons pick for Rookie of the Year was a bad one. Also, Dwane Casey was named Coach of the Year. We recap his speech from last night. Then, James Moore, former MSU football player and member of the 1988 Rose Bowl team, joins the show. He discusses the suicide of Washington State quarterback Tyler Hilinski, and the news that Hilinski had chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Moore explains why sports need to be changed so more kids will live a healthy lifestyle.
