A new water exhibit at the Impression 5 Science Museum in Lansing is getting a huge financial boost from the Rotary Club of Lansing.
Lansing’s Impression 5 Science Center is planning a new $450,000 exhibit designed to make a big splash. It’s a two-story permanent “water park” that will combine play with education. The project has received a $250,000 commitment from the Rotary Club of Lansing to mark the club’s 100th anniversary, which is next year.
Impression 5 is a hands-on learning environment which opened in 1972. The center serves over 120,000 families and visitors each year, offering kids and families activities that encourage risk taking, problem solving, and team building.
