All Ionia Public Schools will reopen tomorrow. Law enforcement issued an all clear after a bomb threat cancelled classes on Tuesday.

District superintendent Ronald Wilson notified the public that the threat came into a Michigan State Police tipline on Sunday.

The anonymous tipster said an explosive device would detonate at Ionia High School on Tuesday morning. As a result, Wilson cancelled classes for Tuesday throughout the district.

The district said state K-9 units and local officers swept the school and found no signs of a bomb.

School officials and Michigan State Police are now trying to find the source of the bomb threat.
