Sex trafficking investigation leads to Lansing woman

A Lansing woman is being charged with multiple felonies in relation to a human trafficking investigation. 

Amber Speed faces charges including minor sex trafficking, pandering, accepting the earning of a prostitute and debt bondage.

According to a press release from Attorney General Bill Schuette, Speed was allegedly conducting an escort service advertising herself and at least three other women. The alleged instances occurred between 2009 and 2014.

Speed’s bond is set at $100,000; her next court date is March 30th.
