Democrats are following up last week’s Republican National Convention with their own gathering. Current State talks with delegates from Michigan for their perspectives on what’s happening in Philadelphia.

Last week, Republicans nominated Donald Trump for president at their national convention in Cleveland. This week, it’s the Democrats’ turn, and last night, they nominated Hillary Clinton for president.

Current State talks with two members of the Michigan delegation to the Democratic National Convention. Chris Savage is a Hillary Clinton delegate from Dexter and the chairman of the Washtenaw County Democrats and Mark LaChey is a Bernie Sanders delegate from Saugatuck who chairs the Michigan Democratic Party’s LGBTQ caucus.
