AG Investigation Into Jackson County Sheriff Draws Parallels To Resignation Of Detroit Mayor

Earlier this month, Jackson County Sheriff Steven Rand came under fire for alleged discriminatory remarks he made against black people, women and Hispanic people. Following a request from The Jackson County Board of Commissioners to have Rand removed from his position, The Attorney General's office has started an investigation into the matter.
