The Lansing School District is again trying to figure out what to do with dozens of aging buildings.Last week, an 11-member citizen panel began meeting to come up with  recommendations on how to proceed with leaking roofs, hobbled heating systems and other problems.

Sam Sinicropi is a co-chair of the "Facilities Task Force" and the former Associate Superintendent of Facilities for Lansing schools. He says the sinking fund approved several years ago by voters has helped, but there are still many issues that have not been addressed.
