Tigers have bright spots despite .500 record at the All-Star break

The major league baseball All-Star game is in Cincinnati Tuesday night. Current State checks in with Detroit Free Press sportswriter Shawn Windsor for a look at the Detroit Tigers at the season’s midway point.

The major league baseball season is at the All Star break. The midseason classic will be played Tuesday night in Cincinnati. The Detroit Tigers head into the break at exactly .500, with 44 wins and 44 losses after Sunday’s 7-1 loss at Minnesota.

Current State assesses the first half of the season and looks ahead to the second half with Shawn Windsor of the Detroit Free Press.
