Now playing at the Williamston Theatre, the play is described as irreverent, funny and deeply moving. We talk with two actors from the production, Mark Colson and Rosie Sullivan.
"A Christmas Carol" has become a beloved fixture of the holiday landscape. A more recent creation offers a modern, entertaining addendum to the Charles Dickens’ classic. In “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol,” we learn more about the other half of the Scrooge and Marley enterprise and what led him to play the critical role he did in Scrooge’s redemption. The play runs through this Sunday.
Current State talks with two of the actors from this Williamston Theatre production. Lead Mark Colson has had a lengthy career in films, stage and television, including appearances in "Parks and Recreation," "CSI" and AMC’s "Low Winter Sun." He’s also as Associate Professor of Media Acting here at MSU. Rosie Sullivan plays various parts in her first professional role. She’s a senior at Michigan State University studying fine arts and acting.
