We continue the conversation with Lansing-native Lisa Kron. She is the co-creator of last year’s Tony-winning powerhouse musical "Fun Home," which is coming to the Wharton Center next year.

The Wharton Center announced its 2016-17 season last week, and among the Broadway tours coming to East Lansing is one co-written by one of our own. The musical "Fun Home," which won multiple Tony Awards last year including Best Musical, was written by composer Jeanine Tesori and mid-Michigan native Lisa Kron.

When the musical’s stop in East Lansing was announced, Lisa Kron came by the WKAR studios to chat with Current State’s fine arts reporter Jamie Paisley.

Last week we aired part one of this interview, which dealt with Lisa Kron’s personal background. For the conclusion of the interview, she dives more deeply into "Fun Home."

The interview includes an acknowledgement about the existence of sex.
