MSU senior Elise Conklin has won a Student Academy Award. We talk with her about her documentary "From Flint: Voices Of A Poisoned City."

It’s fair to say that the pinnacle of filmmaking recognition is winning an Oscar, and those are typically handed out in late February or early March. However, one Michigan State University senior, Elise Conklin, is in Los Angeles this week to pick up her own Academy Award. It’s for a film she worked on at MSU, the subject of which has been making headlines across the country.
