In Mason, a favorite store has reopened after being closed to repair damage after a fire this summer. Current State’s Scott Pohl takes us to Kean’s to see what’s the same, and what’s new, at the downtown landmark.

The city of Mason is celebrating the re-opening of a favorite downtown store. Kean’s has been closed since extensive damage was done by a fire this summer.

There are a few differences, maybe most notably the replacement of a tin ceiling that couldn’t be salvaged.

Current State’s Scott Pohl visited Kean’s a few days before the re-opening to speak with Store manager Laurie Reed. In many ways, Kean’s is the same store people in Mason have loved for almost a century.
