Help from Michigan is coming to Midwest farmers affected by severe flooding.
Carrie Turner is a founding member of Farm and Rancher Aid from West Michigan.
Turner and 14 others from Michigan will head back to Nebraska in late June to help farmers rebuild fencing, barns and other property.
Earlier this year, Michigan farmers donated hay and straw.
“They’re still having standing water out there," said Turner. "So their pastures, which is grass that the cattle can graze on, isn’t there. So they have to supplement more with hay. And that’s where we came in.”
Farm and Rancher Aid raised about $30,000 to help farmers in Nebraska.
