Michigan State Opening Day Football, Appalachian State, Stephen Olschanski, Lansing Catholic, Jim Ahern, Mike Lynn III, and Reflection Friday.

No more waiting, Michigan State football opening day has arrived. The Spartans prepare to face FCS opponent Furman, and fill-in host Isaac Constans stacks the show with football discussion and briefing. Isaac goes down the depth chart and offers up what we can glean from this game, even if it's a blowout. Then, in addition to a few others on the day, it's a familiarly surprising voice as Al calls in from his gridlocked car in Chicago to talk about his trip and what he's been following along with. Then, Stephen Olschanski football beat reporter for The State News, is enlisted to help preview the game against Furman and the upcoming Spartan football season.  And with a turn of the head to the high school football scene, Isaac brings his report from Lansing Catholic's 31-12 victory over Lansing Everett. Hear the voices of Catholic head coach Jim Ahern and new quarterback Michael Lynn III. Finally, let's not forget the business of the week before, and "Reflection Friday" retells the very best of it.
