Mid-Michigan High School Football; Ithaca Football; Concussion Protocol; MHSAA Officiating; Zach Berridge; Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather.

All aboard the "Current Sports with Al Martin" bus, as we head throughout mid-Michigan to tour the high school football scene. Kicking off today's show, Al reads off the scores and brings the news from games last night, specifically the Ithaca-Clare match-up, which Current Sports was in attendance. Al and engineer Isaac Constans break down the big win for the Ithaca Yellowjackets and explain what made coach Terry Hessbrook's team so redoubtable in week one. Yet, a dark cloud loomed over the day. A noticeable breach in MHSAA concussion protocol led Al and Isaac to tear into the officials' response to a likely concussion. For the final day of the Current Sports fall football preview, WILX sports anchor / reporter Zach Berridge contributes to the analysis. Zach tells of "The Sports Blitz" that will run through the season and gives some sneak peeks of his predictions for the year. Ending the show as usual, "Reflection Friday" takes over, and Al's prediction for the big Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight has Isaac cracking up.
