Detroit Tigers' Deals; Justin Verlander; Justin Upton; James Moore; High School Football; DeWitt Football; MSU Football Preview; Keyon Clinton.

It feels like fall already, and today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" soaks it all in. An era of baseball has officially concluded for the Detroit Tigers after dealing formerly one-team man Justin Verlander right at the deadline. The Tigers not only tank now officially, but the memories of fans are just that now--memories. Justin Upton was also dealt, and Al for once compliments general manager Al Avila given the situation. Then, Current Sports revisits last night's football "rivalry" between DeWitt and Grand Ledge. Al brings on DeWitt assistant coach James Moore to analyze the big win for the Panthers and check if this can be counted a rivalry just yet. Al and Isaac both provide their takeaways from that one plus preview the MSU football season. The Spartans open the year against Bowling Green, and with predictions laid out, Saturday's coverage will put those to the test. Finishing off the show, Keyon Clinton motivates and inspires. The author and motivational speaker discusses his mission of F.A.M.I.L.Y. (Forget About Me, I Love You) and how physical health can change lives.
