On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" we sound-off on the unforgettable Alabama / Georgia national championship bout from last night. Al explains why the Crimson Tide victory was the greatest coaching job of Nick Saban's career. Also, where does six national championships put Saban in college football history? A couple of dear callers join the conversation as well.

We then turn our attention to Darren Weiss, former Current Sports beat reporter and MSU women's basketball scout team player, who is now pursuing acting in Los Angeles, California. Weiss profiles his journey from East Lansing to Hollywood and draws a few parallels between the two different careers.

The show is closed out with a brief preview of tomorrow's show, in which we invite Zach Berridge from WILX TV 10 to talk HS basketball and elaborate on the transfer decision of Michigan State receiver Hunter Rison.
