The Lansing School Board chose Rachel Lewis as their president earlier this year.
Lewis has been on the board since 2011 and served as Vice President in 2016.
WKAR’s Katie Cook spoke with her about her vision for the district.
She started by asking Lewis what ways she has seen the district move forward during her time on the board.
