Following Tuesday’s arraignment of former MSU football player Demetric Vance on a charge of third degree criminal sexual conduct, two more former players implicated in the same incident were in court today.

Donnie Corley Jr. was arraigned in East Lansing’s 54B District Court, facing a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. He’s facing up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Judge Richard Ball set a $10,000 bond with a 10-percent provision for Corley, which he posted within 30 minutes.
Later, Joshua King was arraigned on three charges. The most serious, first degree CSC, could lead to life in prison. King’s attorney, Shannon Smith, asked for a reduction in the $50-thousand dollar bond sought by the prosecution.
Judge Ball reduced King’s bond to $25-thousand, but denied a defense request for a ten percent provision. King was unable to post bond and was taken into custody. King is also charged with third degree CSC and up to 15 years in jail, and a charge of possessing and distributing an image of an unclothed person, which carries a possible sentence of five years. The judge has scheduled pre-exam probable cause conferences for June 15th and preliminary exams for June 22nd.
