Former MSU Trustee Woodard Dies

Former Michigan State University Trustee Diann Woodard died on May 6th  after a long illness. Woodard served an eight-year term on the board following her election in 2008.

Woodard was president of the American Federal of School Administrators and a member of the AFL-CIO Executive Council.

Her funeral will be on May 16th at Friendship Baptist Church in Detroit.

Diann Woodard was 66.
