Eaton and Ingham County election results will be updated as results are made available. 

Mayoral races are as followed:

Charlotte mayor Tim Lewis

City of Charlotte:

100% of precincts are in. Tim Lewis ran unopposed.

Charlotte is a city of 9,000 residents. Lewis was first elected in 2015.

Eaton Rapids:

All precincts are in. Paul Malweski had 498 votes and Steven G. Platte had 221 vote.

Mayor Kalmin D. Smith of Grand Ledge

Grand Ledge:

Kalmin D. Smith defeated Michael C. Coll 562 to 408 votes. 100 percent of precincts have been counted.

City of Olivet:

Laura Barlond-Maas has 105 votes and Debra Maxwellm had 42. 100 percent of precincts are in.

Mason Public Schools Millage:

53% of voters (2,888 votes) support the millage while 46% of voters (2,529 votes) are against the millage.

The proposal is a $69.7 million bond that improves security, technology and purchases new buses for the district.

Eaton County 911 Surcharge Ballot Proposal:

About 51% of people voted agaisnt the proposal and 49% of voters supported the proposal.

The 911 surcharge ballot raised the landline, wireless and VOIP serive suppliers bills of Eaton County residents by $1.75. This funding would benefit the 911 emergency dispatch radio system and other equipment.
