Habitat for Humanity for the Capital Region has enlisted local artists to decorate doors for a fundraiser this week. We talk with event organizer Ben Rathbun and artist Jack Bergeron about the Door Jam.

It isn’t unusual for artists to use their works for charity events. In recent years and in a variety of communities, there have public displays like decorated cows or pianos. The Capital Region Habitat for Humanity is using works of art this week to raise awareness and some money at an event they’re called the Door Jam. It’s Thursday night at the Woldumar Nature Center in Lansing.

We talk with Ben Rathbun of Habitat's young professionals division and artist Jack Bergeron about Door Jam.
