The Women in the Arts Festival will be back in East Lansing this weekend. The headlining music show with Dar Williams is already sold out, but there will be a lot more to do. We talk with organizer Abby Wattenberg and musician Rachel Alexander.

The second weekend in November is coming up, and that means it’s time for the return of the Women in the Arts Festival in East Lansing. This is the 31st year of the Festival, with artists galore and lots of music.

Friday night’s headline show with Dar Williams is sold out, but there are plenty of other events at the festival.

Current State talks with an organizer of the Women in the Arts Festival, Abby Wattenberg, and musician Rachel Alexander, who will sit it with Sometimes Y for a performance.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
