Many MSU fans were left looking just like coach Tom Izzo Tuesday night, wondering just what happened. On "Current Sports with Al Martin," today is about the Michigan State-Duke men's basketball game, which rocked back and forth. But now, Izzo's 1-11 record against Duke is far from his usual expectations. Izzo and the players were not happy, and their reactions are aired out on Current Sports. Al drives through the game play after play, employing a technique he says MSU should have used more. And while it isn't the case often, even Izzo is questioned. Substitution patterns, zone reads and all, Izzo was beaten by his coaching counterpart, Mike Krzyzewski. Al and engineer Isaac Constans go a ways toward pointing out room for improvement, in both strategy and gameplay, with the two demonstrating how to poke holes in a zone defense. And yet, it's not all bad for the Spartans. As Current Sports spans the college basketball world, learn about the latest Californian fiasco. When three players returned to UCLA after shoplifting charges in China, the reception was, well, just something you have to hear. And on Current Sports, you can, right as the show ticks down.
