Jim Brandstatter; Detroit Lions; Adam Silver; NBA One-and-Done Rule

No job is safe, folks. That's Al's message on this episode of "Current Sports with Al Martin," as he recounts the firing of Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Brandstatter. Brandstatter was fired over the phone by the Detroit Lions radio network after a 31 year career with the team. Also on the docket of discussion is the NBA's one-and-done rule, which requires players to play one year of basketball in college or overseas before entering the NBA Draft. Commissioner Adam Silver says he wants to eliminate the rule, and thinks the NBA Players Association will eventually agree to do so. That, and more!
