We catch up on the month’s biggest stories in state government on our Month in Review segment:  more corruption in Detroit schools, more scrutiny of the Flint crisis and more. We talk with Kathleen Gray of the Detroit Free Press and Zach Gorchow of Gongwer News.

Nothing could displace the Flint water crisis as the top Michigan news story in March. Gov. Rick Snyder appeared in Washington before a hostile Congressional committee. A task force issued an analysis that laid the main blame at the feet of the state Department of Environmental Quality, but also found fault with the Snyder administration and said “environmental injustice” was a factor in the Flint emergency.

To discuss and update this story and others for Current State’s Month in Review, we talk with Kathleen Gray of the Detroit Free Press and Zach Gorchow of Gongwer News.
