It’s December, and time for some Christmas music on Live Music Friday! Every year, Lansing-based saxophonist Phil Denny stages a Christmas concert. This year’s show has come and gone, but Phil has been good enough to agree to join us for some Christmas songs today.

Along with his performance schedule, Phil has an ambitious slate of concerts that he arranges in Lansing called the Gallery Suite Jazz Series, with several lined up for the new year. He’s also working up a brand new jazz festival in town next summer.

Phil Denny performs "The First Noel" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" live from WKAR's Studio S.
