Every Wednesday we bring you Neighbors in Action, a look at a local organizations working to make Greater Lansing a better place. Lansing Love Your Block is a new initiative led by a coalition of community partners. Their mission? To improve the quality of Lansing neighborhoods by holding a competition for mini-grants. They're calling on the community to submit their best proposals for how to better their blocks.

Current State talks with Andi Crawford, neighborhood resource coordinator for the city of Lansing, and Jeff Burdick, executive director of Ingham County Land Bank.
